I offer a range of educational and publishing services. I can manage and lead author teams on projects, research and develop strategies, or work to write, edit or oversee a series or set of resources. I have developed and led projects for a wide range of clients, including Harper Collins, Cambridge University Press, York Notes/Pearson, the National Literacy Trust, OFQUAL and the Department for Education.
Writing
I can work to a given brief or lead projects. Having worked as a Commissioning Editor I understand the demands of a budget, a schedule and writing for a specific audience.
Editing
As consultant editor for York Notes and others, I have overseen numerous projects and resources. I can review, suggest designs, proof and check manuscripts and sign-off projects.
Workshops
I have led creative writing courses for the University of Brighton and worked with children in both primary and secondary school settings. Let me know what you want, and I'll design a course around your needs.
Consultancy
I have advised the Department for Education, Ofqual and the National Literacy Trust and worked with schools to support them in literacy progress.
